The Cool Dog Leadholder and set of 2 mm colored leads

Another rare sight: a 2 mm translucent plastic leadholder with a set of 12 colored leads found in the school supplies section of a Carrefour store in Beijing. Perhaps they might show up in stationery and dollar stores stateside. The cap features a built-in sharpener for the leads. An interesting concept that would allow kids to take along a compact coloring kit (much smaller than a set of pencils) in car trips, but in practice more of a novelty since the colors are rather pale and the leads break easily under normal drawing pressure.
