Faber Castell watercolor pencils tin of 12 = nice holiday gift

Tin sets of 12 artist grade watercolor pencils are good gift choices for the artists and sketching hobbyists in your holiday list. They are affordable, pigment rich, compact, and portable which makes them ideal introductory starter sets for sketching and drawing on-the-go. Adding a nice waterbrush and a watercolor postcards pad would make a well-thought out custom gift set.
Color palette of the Faber Castell Albrecht Durer Nature set of 12 watercolor pencils. Labels and outlines drawn with a waterproof Uni-ball Signo DX UM-151 Gel Ink Pen. A cobalt blue aquarelle stick was used for the sky color. Already putting my other recommended stocking stuffer to use as reference for quick sketches, so you might even spot the head of the Schleich Andalusian stallion peeking from behind the hill.
Took advantage of the water-soluble black ink of the Kuretake No. 13 fountain hair brush pen to enhance with a waterbrush the shadow areas on this doodle of the Schleich Mustang stallion after it was colored with the Faber Castell Albrecht Durer Nature watercolor pencils set.
