Always carry Paper and Pencil with you in all your trips
Some pencil sketches drawn in planes during a recent trip to Florida.
Visit to the local museum showcased some nice historical pencil items.
Apparently much of the cedar used for pencil slats in the early XX century came from Cedar Key, FL.
Those forest resources were harvested until all the native red cedar trees were gone, and all that remains are some plaques at the mill sites recounting the role this small fishing town played in the history of pencil-making in the USA.
